Minor League Baseball in Daytona Beach

So you're in Daytona Beach and you like baseball. There's good news, minor league baseball is alive and well here.

The Class A Daytona Beach Cubs play at Jackie Robinson Stadium in the city center is a very nice small stadium. It's ideal for kids of all ages. We lived in the Clearwater area before moving to the east coast of Florida and my son grew up going to Clearwater Phillies (now the Thrashers) and St. Pete Cardinals games.

This is some of the best baseball you will see. Most of the players are just starting their careers and there is no lack of effort. You are close to the field and you are really there. I've been to major league baseball games where I couldn't make out the players faces. At Jackie Robinson Stadium, you feel like you're part of the action.

Another great thing about Class A is that the cost of the games are relatively inexpensive. No, they're downright cheap compared to the major leagues. How cheap:
